Hi all!
Dave here with a short video release from the Jesus Christ Superstar project that I was involved in during the summer. I’ll be posting other snippets over the coming weeks as well as put up an info page.

I’ve got some good news!
I’ll be releasing the Jesus Christ Superstar videos that I made for Ryleepuss productions on the web. For those that don’t know I’ve filmed some videos for the musical that Ryleepuss is putting on in Uxbridge, Ontario. The videos are integrated into the performance and sometimes give the actors more time to change during scenes.
I’ll also be putting online videos from the actual performance, should be fun! In the meantime two more pics from the videos!
Hey gang,
Dave here. Yup it’s going slow. I don’t really have an excuse other then a mixture of crap including writer’s block, work and stifling heat.
So what am I doing with film these days? Glad you asked! In case you didn’t notice the pics in this post they’re from a musical that I’ve been making videos for (intermission type things). The musical is Jesus Christ Superstar and so far it’s great. I’m the “videographer” which means that I’m holding the camera, and editing everything. Then playing chopper/Jetman on my MP3 player during the cast rehearsal. Hehe.
These videos will not be released online and if you want to see them you need to get to the Uxbridge Music Hall on July 3rd. Opening Night.
Till next time,
Things are going really slowly with myself working on a new script (really slowly.) Hopefully things will pick up soon. Anyway I’ve put a scene from Ep. 2 of Luck’s End on youtube called the Beggar Scene. Hope you guys like it. Here’s the link.
The biggest movie yet from Optically Minded has just been released and you can watch it as well as find some cool pics here .
Luck’s End was originally meant to be a 40 Minute long film but I decided to split the flick into three pieces because 1) More motivational for me 2) Some new scenes really make it work as a series. It’s a lot rougher then I thought it would be but for something that I started way back in ‘05 I think it’s pretty good.
Enjoy!
